The Hidden

"There is always something hidden somewhere deep inside."

I began my project, "THE HIDDEN," as a journey of self-exploration. The experience of relocating to the USA as an adult with my twin boys profoundly shook my world. The realization that I needed to learn to live anew was a harsh truth to confront. The initial image I created for the project reflects these emotions projecting strength externally while grappling with a profound sense of being lost and broken inside.

Artistic expression can be a therapeutic and transformative process, allowing you to explore and communicate complex emotions that may be difficult to express in other ways. The duality of strength on the outside while feeling lost and broken inside is a poignant theme that many people can relate to when navigating significant life changes.

In this thought-provoking project, the viewer looks into the depths of human feelings, shedding light on the concealed aspects of our inner life. In a world that frequently prioritizes the visible and the tangible, "The Hidden" serves as a poignant reminder of the other, equally vital part of reality—the emotions that remain unseen. Through artistic and evocative imagery, my project aims to spark a profound self-observation, urging viewers to confront their own concealed feelings and understand the hidden struggles faced by individuals in society.

It invites the audience to engage in conversations about mental health, gender equality, and the importance of acknowledging and supporting one another's emotional well-being. Through these captivating visuals, "The Hidden" catalyzes change, encouraging to advocate for a world where we are free to express ourselves openly, without judgment or prejudice. By unveiling the hidden realities that shape us, my  project calls to embrace empathy, compassion, and solidarity, fostering a society that values the rights and feelings of every individual, regardless of gender, ethnicity, and race.
